Afternoon Golf during Daylight Savings

A special green fee rate has been introduced so that golfers can take advantage of daylight savings and play some afternoon golf. The green fee is available for individuals and groups not exceeding 8 players.

Monday to Friday,subject to availability

• Unlimited adult golf after 1.00pm - $20
• Unlimited under 18 golf after 1.00pm - $10
• Unlimited pensioner and senior golf after 1.00pm - $12

Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays, subject to availability

• Unlimited golf after 2.00pm - $20
• Unlimited under 18 golf after 2.00pm - $10

Golf Cart Special, subject to availability

• Where 2 players hire a cart on a share basis, the cost of the green fee and cart is $30 per player.

Golf Equipment Demonstration Days

Golf equipment demonstration days are being held during January and you are invited to come and try the equipment at no cost.

• Srixon - Saturday 21 Jan, from 10am until 2pm
• Callaway/Top Flite and Hogan - Thursday 26 Jan, from 10am until 2pm

Saturday Junior Group Clinics Program - February

4-6 years	9:00am - 9:30am	$35/month
6-10 years	9:30am - 10:30am	$65/month
11-18 year	10:30am - 11:30am	$65/month
Advanced Junior Golfers	2:30pm - 3:30pm	$65/month

(All lessons include on-course coaching).

Ladies Golf Clinics

Beginners Commencing Saturday 28 Jan	11:45am - 12:45pm	$18/session
Advanced Last Saturday of each month	1:30pm - 4:30pm	$50/session

Private Lessons

Available 7 Days a week	$45 per lesson
Private Lesson Package	$180 for 5 lessons.

Pro Tip

The common cause of slicing is swinging across the line path (outside in) and whilst swinging outside in, your hands do not release the club.

You must learn the feeling of your hands crossing over releasing the club with your body with the club face closing and the ball flight going left.

After practising this it will become very simple to swing inside to out curing your slice.

Competitions

Ambrose Competition - 1st Qualifying Round
Friday 31 March 2006

The Ambrose Event has 2 qualifying rounds. Qualification for the final is by playing in either or both qualifying rounds which will be held in March and September 2006.

Final to be played in November 2006

All teams must initially compete in a Qualifying Round.

A minimum of the leading 2 teams (excluding a previously qualified team) from each qualifying round will qualify for the final.

Players with either a Golf Club or Social Club handicap are eligible to compete.

Entrance Fee: $35.00 per Player

Excellent prizes - 1st & 2nd Nett scores

This event provides the opportunity for you and your golfing friends to enjoy the Growling Frog Golf Course whilst playing in a popular golf competition.
